“What’s the date?”的用法
这是由what引导的特殊疑问句，用来对“日期”进行提问，意为“今天是几月几号? ”。其同义句型为“What date is it today?”，其答语均为“It’s+日期”。

date的用法
date作名词，意为“日期；约会”。

序数词的用法
