escape意为“逃走;逃脱”,含有“脱离”的意思,因此通常不与 away,off 等副词连用。escape表示从具体的某一场所逃走或表示液体或气体等漏出,是不及物动词,常与介词 from连用。如:

if意为“如果”,引导条件状语从句时,主句用一般将来时,从句要用一般现在时表示将来,即“主将从现”。如:
